(Bloomberg) -- The rally in FTSE 100 Index futures has opened a so-called gap near 5,300 and the securities may retreat to that level before gains can continue, according to technical analysts at Commerzbank AG. A gap occurs when a measure sets an intraday low at a higher level than the previous day’s intraday high, according to technical analysts, who look at price charts to make predictions. A gap is “closed” when a security retraces back below that price.
