PT Bhakti Investama (BHIT) Tbk, an investment holding controlled by Tanoesoedibjo family, has reportedly sold 20.28% shares in PT Global Mediacom (BMTR) to foreign investors for Rp2.1 trillion or about US$246 million. Detik.com reported today that PT MNC Securities, affiliated to Bhakti, facilitated the crossing of 1.463 billion shares Wednesday (June 1) at Rp752.56 per share or a discount of 10.44% from yesterday’s closing. Global Mediacom closed lower by 1.19% to Rp830 Wednesday.
On Monday, MNC also facilitated the crossing of shares worth Rp191 billion, followed with the crossing of shares worth Rp811 billion on Tuesday. Bhakti controlled 51.57% BMTR shares before the crossing. Other shareholders are PT Asriland (12.29%), MediaCorp Investments Pte Ltd (6.18%), and public (29.96%). At Rp830 per share, Global Mediacom, controlling shareholder of PT Media Nusantara Citra (MNCN) Tbk, has market capitalization of Rp11.44 trillion or about US$1.3 billion. Global Mediacom controls 71.46% shares in MNCN, which controls 100% shares in PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI). (Theindonesiatoday)

Conclusion:
☑ BORN, the only listed coking coal in Indonesia, should gain from the coking coal potential global market considering its high quality product.
☑ Coal producers who have less efficient logistic infrastructure are likely to experience higher cost per ton basis in long term. In our perpective, coal producers that have average haul distance less than 50-60km are more cost-competitive and more preferrable like BUMI (7 – 55km), INDY (Kideco – 38km), HRUM (45-50km) and ITMG (38-60km) are preferrable.
☑ Despite of lack proven economically feasible for low rank coal upgrading technology, but we believe the evolving technology remain intact and improving which make Indonesian abundant low rank coal becoming more attractive in coming years.

BMRI- the President Director said its FY11 net profit could grow by 20%. If that's the case, the number should be around Rp11tn, in line with consensus of Rp11.8tn
UNSP- 1Q11 net profit jumped by 256% yoy to Rp229.6bn- strong result since it's already 43% of FY11 market consensus (Rp530.5bn)
DOID- posted 1Q11 net profit of Rp165bn (+8% yoy)- it's 26% of FY11 consensus of Rp632bn
ENRG- Reignwood Int'l Investment has pledged 6.4bn shares of ENRG to the Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Ltd. No other details were given
CTRP- Detik News reported that Lotte Group has signed an agreement to lease and manage the entire of Ciputra World for 20 years. Ciputra World is a 130K m2 super-block which is scheduled to open in 2H12
