JAKARTA (Dow Jones)--The Indonesian government will ask PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM.JK) to put aside 55% of its 2010 net profit for dividend payment, an official at the state-enterprise ministry told reporters Tuesday. "We will propose that this should be discussed at Telkom's shareholders meeting on May 19," said Irnanda Laksnawan, deputy state-enterprise minister. Telkom posted a net profit of IDR11.54 trillion in 2010, or IDR572 earnings per share. If the government's proposal is approved, Telkom will pay IDR315 dividend per share to shareholders. The Indonesian government has a 51.19% stake in the nation's largest telecommunication company by assets and subscribers.

Another person familiar with the matter said it planned to price the bond to yield in the "low 5% area." Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase and UBS are lead managers for the proposed issue, which is expected to be rated Ba1 with a stable outlook by Moody's Investors Service and BB+ with a positive outlook by Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor's Ratings Services.
Indonesia's last global bond issuance was in January 2010, when it sold $2 billion in 10-year bonds at a yield of 6%.
