Daily Market Oulook IHSG /(JSX)

Market Review

Trend bullish berlanjut jika IHSG ditutup harian diatas 2.480 -2.494 (5 & 10 day MA), masih berpeluang ke target 2.536/2.542 (high 17/12). Hitungan EW: formasi diagonal triangle menunjukkan wave minuette ii koreksi C, mendorong perkiraan potensi penurunan lebih lanjut selama tidak menembus high 2.559 untuk target 2.415/2.370. Bilamana tembus high baru, skenario wave ABC diartikan failed dan menunjukkan wave impulse 5 belum berakhir. Hold sell on rally 2.491-2.530 untuk kedua kalinya, target 2.370/2.250 stop diatas 2.560.

Next Decade Will Be Good One for Stock Investors: Matthew Lynn

(Bloomberg) -- Even the most practiced soothsayer will struggle to make any detailed predictions for the next 10 years. It’s hard enough to know what will happen in the markets in January 2010, never mind December 2019.The main thing investors need to know about the coming decade can be summed up in one of those pithy Twitter updates. Will it be good or bad for stocks? Everything else is extraneous. The answer? Good. A shortage of capital from any source other than the stock market; moderate but persistent inflation; and the probability that economic growth will be stronger than many economists expect means that “the 10s” will be a time when equities start to have some rocket fuel in their engine again.Stock markets usually work in decade-long cycles.

U.S. Dollar, Stocks May Both Advance 10%, Biggs Says

(Bloomberg) -- The dollar and U.S. stocks may keep rising together as economies improve around the world, reversing the relationship that held between March and November, hedge- fund manager Barton Biggs said. The currency is undervalued against the euro and yen and the economic recovery is “gaining momentum,” he added. Gross domestic product will increase 2.6 percent next year after contracting 2.5 percent in 2009, according to the median economist forecasts in a Bloomberg survey.Bullish bets that Biggs made during the worst of the credit crisis are giving his six-year-old firm its best returns ever. His view on the dollar echoes the forecast from Marc Faber, publisher of the “Gloom Boom & Doom” newsletter, who told Bloomberg Television today that currency dollar may appreciate 5 percent to 10 percent against the euro in the near term while equities advance.

U.S. Economy to Surge Says Most Accurate Forecaster

(Bloomberg) -- The U.S. economy next year will turn in its best performance since 2004 as spending perks up and companies increase investment and hiring, says Dean Maki, the most-accurate forecaster in a Bloomberg News survey. The world’s largest economy will expand 3.5 percent in 2010, according to Maki, the chief U.S. economist at Barclays Capital Inc. in New York. The rebound in stocks and rising incomes will prompt Americans to do what they do best -- consume, said Maki, a former economist at the Federal Reserve. Faced with dwindling inventories and growing demand, companies will soon become confident the expansion will be sustained, he said.

A pick up in domestic consumer spending and corporate investments and “resilient” fund flows from foreign investors may also benefit equities, said Sean SY Hwang, head of Korea equity research at Mirae Asset Securities Co.

Thai Stocks May Slump in Mid-2010 on Politics, Siam City Says

(Bloomberg) -- Thailand’s benchmark stock index, set for its biggest annual gain in six years, may tumble in the middle of next year on heightening political instability and accelerating inflation, according to Siam City Securities Co. The SET Index may slump to as low as 540 in 2010 in the second or third quarter, Sukit Udomsirikul, an investment strategist at Siam City, a brokerage unit of Thailand’s seventh- biggest commercial bank, said in a telephone interview today. That would be a 26 percent drop from yesterday’s close.

Daily Market Outlook of IHSG (JSX)

Market Review
Investor asing membukukan net buy sebesar Rp 70,75 miliar, dibandingkan net buy Rp 136 miliar hari Rabu (23/12).

IHSG Outlook

Stock Picks:
#DOID: Buy target Rp 2.500 #MIRA: Sell target Rp 215

Global Outlook

Technical Analysis:
IHSG menunjukkan signal positif dari pola long opening marubozu (indikasi bullish reversal yang moderat), ditutup diatas di atas trendline support di 2.440, indikator ADX meningkat (indikasi technical rebound berlanjut), MACD dan stochastic oscilator di teritorial netral, penutupan diatas 5/10/20 day MA, seharusnya menunjukkan potensi kenaikan yang moderat hari ini. Stocks, Dollar, Buffett & Tiger: Kass' 20 Predictions for 2010

By: JeeYeon Park CNBC News Associate
Year-end is high season for market and economic outlooks. Douglas Kass, founder and president of Seabreeze Partners Management shared his 20 predictions for 2010 with CNBC on Monday.

1. Corporate profits soar 100% in the first quarter of 2010 from a year ago, while GDP jumps 4.5%.

2. Housing and jobs fail to revive.
“Modest gains in jobs,” Kass told CNBC in a live interview. “Real rates will ratchet higher. We’re starting to see it. It’s one of those due bills from the nation whose deficit is growing in a spectacular fashion.”

3. The U.S. dollar explodes higher.

4. The price of gold topples.

“Gold is going to break $900," he said. "It’s one of the most crowded trades.”

5. Central banks tighten earlier than expected.
"We might see a policy mistake—everyone’s concerned about it," he said. "I think we’ll follow China. China’s already trying to stem the property speculation…So one of the surprises will be a much earlier increase in the Fed funds rates than generally expected.

6. A Middle East peace is upended due to an attack by Israel on Iran.
“What will cause a correction is something that no one’s thinking about. And when I distill all the possible uncertainties that will break the disequilibrium, geopolitical is uppermost in my mind,” he said.

7. Stocks drop by 10% in the first half of next year.
“If we look at the consensus forecast, they’re really clustered in a narrow range," said Kass. "We get a decline and the first surprise is that corporate profits double in the first quarter and then you have an exogenous event, which hurts the market and then we get nothing for the second half of the year.”

8. Goldman Sachs goes private.
Predictions '10 - See Complete Coverage
“With Warren Buffett assisting," he said. Kass predicts that Goldman Sachs [GS 164.948 0.978 (+0.6%) ] stock will drop back to $125 to $130 a share, within $15 of the warrant exercise price that Warren Buffett received in Berkshire Hathaway's [BRK.A 98690.00 -205.00 (-0.21%) ] late 2008 investment in Goldman Sachs.

9. Second-half 2010 GDP growth turns flat.

10. Rate-sensitive stocks outperform; metals underperform.

11. Treasury yields fall.
“They will peak in the first quarter—4-4.25—not much more than they are now," he said. "And they drop with slowing growth.”

12. Warren Buffett steps down.
“With the Burlington Northern [BNI 98.50 0.10 (+0.1%) ] acquisition, the Oracle has completed his canvas and there is very little for him to do," said Kass. "And he steps down, and as you know he’s been testing out some outside managers as his CIO.”

13. Insider trading charges expand.
14. The SEC launches an assault on mutual fund expenses.
Kass predicts that the SEC restricts 12b-1 mutual fund fees and in response to the proposal, asset management stocks crater.

15. The SEC restricts short-selling.
"All short-selling," he said. "We get a double dip in the economy—stocks start moving lower, and they panic."

16. More hedge fund tumult emerges.
17. Pandit is out and Cohen is in at Citigroup.
"Pandit will be out—he's doing a horrible job—he's slow to react to the demise of the credit markets and my surprise is [former Shearson Lehman Brothers Chairman] Peter Cohen replaces him." Kass also predicts that Sandy Weill rejoins Citigroup [C 3.34 -0.01 (-0.3%) ] as a senior consultant.

Predictions '10 - See Complete Coverage

18. A weakened Republican party is in disarray.
Sarah Palin announces that she has separated from her husband, leaving the Republican party firmly in the hands of former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, said Kass. An improving economy in early 2010 elevates President Obama's popularity back to pre-inauguration levels, and, despite the market's second-quarter decline, the country comes together after the Middle East conflict, producing a tidal wave of populism that moves ever more dramatically in legislation and spirit.

19. Tiger Woods makes a comeback.
Tiger Woods and his wife reconcile in early 2010, and he will return earlier than expected to the PGA Tour, predicts Kass. After announcing that his wife is pregnant with their third child, both the PGA Tour's and Tiger Woods' popularity rise to record levels, and the golfer signs a series of new commercial contracts that insure him a record $150 million of endorsement income in 2011, he added.

20. The New York Yankees are sold to a Jack Welch-led investor group.
The Steinbrenner family decides, for estate purposes, to sell the New York Yankees to a group headed by former General Electric [GE 15.33 -0.11 (-0.71%) ] Chairman Jack Welch.

Market Tips: No Big Correction in 2010

By: CNBC.com
Global stock markets saw strong gains in 2009, recovering a large chunk of the losses suffered by investors in the wake of the financial crisis. But will 2010 bring investors more rewards or does it hold the risk of a major correction? Arjuna Mahendran, MD & head of investment strategy, Asia at HSBC Private Bank, told CNBC that he does not expect a correction next year, as long as corporate earnings get off to a strong start.

Don't Expect a Big Correction in 2010

"I don't think there is a big correction coming. If we do have a correction there's an outside chance you could have something like 15-20 percent correction. That's if we have some extraordinarily disappointing numbers in the first-quarter earning season," Mahendran said.

U.S. rate hikes in 2010? Plausible, but not a given

(Reuters) - Wall Street's raging bulls may be getting ahead of themselves.

Economy
From the first inklings of U.S. economic growth after the deepest recession since the 1930s, some investors have extrapolated a robust expansion that will force the U.S. Federal Reserve to raise interest rates in the second half of next year.Their reasoning, based on the notion that companies overreacted to last year's epic financial meltdown by cutting staff and production too sharply, has some merit. Yet judging from the core of the central bank's rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee, most prominently Chairman Ben Bernanke and his No. 2, Donald Kohn, policymakers are hardly trigger happy.

Stocks seen notching up more gains in 2010

(Reuters) - Stocks should score a second straight year of gains in 2010 as an economic recovery brightens the profit outlook, extending the market's rebound from the depths of a punishing financial crisis, a Reuters poll showed on Wednesday. Most of the upside is forecast for the first half of the year as investors bet on a more stable economy boosting sectors like technology, industrials and materials. The second half of 2010 will be more muted as investors seek clarity on when and how the U.S. Federal Reserve might tighten monetary policy by raising interest rates or draining the financial system of excess liquidity, or both. The survey of about 40 analysts at top Wall Street dealers, brokerages and fund managers taken over the last week showed a median target of 1,208 for the benchmark Standard & Poor's 500 index at the end of next year.

2010: A bounce into the unknown
Outlook marred by risks in unwinding of central banks' easy money measures

(MarketWatch) -- Still high on the sugar provided by ultra-low interest rates and the massive amounts of liquidity provided by central banks, stocks could climb steadily in the first half of 2010, according to the predictions of some major Wall Street banks and analysts. But beyond that time frame, many strategists color their views with caution. A big question remains as to what will happen when the Federal Reserve and other major central banks remove the massive amounts of money they injected to rescue the financial system and the global economy. Ablin expects U.S. stocks, as measured by the broad S&P 500 index /quotes/comstock/21z!i1:in\x (SPX 1,126, +5.89, +0.53%) , to gain another 15% in the first half of the year, thanks to the fuel provided by government and central bank money.

Gold May Advance as Investors Buy After Decline, Survey Shows

(Bloomberg) -- Gold may gain as some investors buy the metal after its “excessive” drop from a record price, a survey showed. Eleven of 21 traders, investors and analysts surveyed by Bloomberg, or 52 percent, said bullion would rise next week. Seven forecast lower prices and three were neutral. Gold for delivery in February fell 0.7 percent this week to $1,103.40 an ounce by 3:20 a.m. in New York. Gold futures are heading for a fourth weekly decline and have dropped 10 percent since reaching a record $1,227.50 an ounce on Dec. 3. Gold tends to move inversely to the dollar, which has gained 4.2 percent against a basket of six major currencies in the period. Bullion is still up 25 percent this year and set for a ninth annual gain.

Weekly Market Outlook of IHSG (28 - 31 Desember 2009)

Market Review

Resistan 79.83, Support 76.15

Global Outlook
Imbas dari kenaikan harga komoditas (target minyak $ 79/81, emas $ 1.150, nikel $ 21.000, timah $ 17.500) setelah laporan inventory crude AS

Jika
level 2.559 berhasil ditembus, konfirmasi wave impulse 1-5 sejak 1.089 belum berakhir dan menunjukkan wave impulse 5. Hold posisi sell area 2491-2530 target 2.370 stop diatas 2.560, buy break 2.560 target 2.620.

Week Ahead: Stocks Look Set to Ride Higher Into New Year's

By: Patti Domm CNBC Executive Editor

Odds are good that stocks will ride out the final week of the year on an upswing that could continue into early January. The market closed out the past week at the year's highs, and traders say the market has been setting up to move even higher in the coming week. There is little economic news to affect trading, but a big event will be the auction of some $118 billion in Treasury notes. Investors will also be watching for the latest tally on retailers' holiday sales.

Traders are anticipating a Santa Claus rally, which occurs when stocks rise in the final five sessions of the year and the first two of the new year. That trend has worked 77 percent of the time for the Dow since 1896, and the average gain in those up years has been 2.8 percent. The Dow finished the past week with a 1.9 percent gain at 10,520, which puts it up nearly 20 percent for the year. The S&P rose 2.2 percent to 1126 and is now up 24 percent for the year. The Nasdaq gained 3.4 percent for the week to 2285, and is up 45 percent for the year.

Dollar 2010: Rate, Not Great, Expectations

By: Albert Bozzo Senior Features Editor

You can stop worrying about the weak dollar—you can also stop hoping about a strong one. Most currency market analysts expect the U.S. currency to build on its 5-percent December bounce, as traders continue to factor in a stonger U.S. economy and an inevitable Fed tighening. Beyond that, however, a lot depends on just how poorly things go for other major currencies, such as the euro, pound and yen.

In general, analysts expect the dollar to remain weak against the currencies of commodities-driven economies such as Canada, Australia and Brazil, while making gains against those of Japan, Britain and the European Union. At the same time, after a multi-year bear market that took the dollar to record lows against the euro and parity with the Swiss Franc and Canadian Dollar, analysts say the worst is definitely over.

Top 10 Outrageous Predictions for 2010

By: Robin Knight, CNBC Assistant Web
GOLD, BONDS, POLITICS & GOVERNMENT, CURRENCIES, STOCK MARKET, INVESTMENT STRATEGY

As New Year's approaches, money managers, strategists, sell-side analysts and economists turn their attention to what the next year holds. Which sector will do best? Which currency, country, asset class? Is it time to invest in that leather-bound waste-paper basket that would really tie the office together? But one group of analysts at Saxo Bank goes one step further to lay out its "outrageous predictions," or "Black Swans" for the year ahead.

It looks to those high-impact, hard-to-predict and rare events that can blindside investors. The exercise aims to challenge market conceptions, but the chance of one of the predictions actually coming true is no better than 50 percent, they say. Judging by last year's list of predictions, it would appear the success rate is closer to zero. Click here to see last year's "Black Swans" and read below to see what Saxo Bank thinks could be happening in 2010.

Bunds Yields Will fall to 2.25%
German bunds, and other sovereign fixed-income assets, will see their yield slump because of deflationary forces and easy monetary policy, according to Saxo Bank. Traders will refuse to buy into the "growth story" that is being pushed by the stock market, the report said. The German 10-year government bond could be forced from 122.6 to 133.3 by the end of 2010, it added.

VIX Will Fall to 14
The VIX could fall from 22.32 to 14 points as trading ranges narrow and implied options volatility declines, according to the report. Investors are showing the same kind of complacency toward risk as they were in 2005-06, Saxo Bank said.

Yuan Will be Devalued by 5% Vs. Dollar
The yuan could be set to fall 5 percent against the dollar due to the spare capacity in China and the general economic backdrop, according to Saxo Bank. The efforts of Chinese authorities to stem the credit growth and avoid bad loans, coupled with the creation of several growth bubbles could spell weakness for the Chinese currency, the report said.

Gold Will Fall to $870 in 2010
The rally in gold prices will be brought to an end by a strengthening dollar, Saxo Bank claimed. Pushing gold higher has become too easy and too widespread to bring results in the short term and a serious correction could send the precious metal toward $870, the analysts said. However, it will reach $1,500 within five years, they said.

Dollar Vs. Yen to Reach 110
The dollar could snap back next year, sending the yen to 110, because the greenback carry trade has been too easy and too obvious for too long, Saxo Bank said. Meanwhile, the yen is not reflecting the economic reality in Japan, which is laden with growing debt and an ageing population, the report said.

Angry Americans to Form Third Party
Next year will bring see an anti-incumbent mood in U.S. politics as a result of bail-outs and general disapproval of both the big parties, the analysts said. The demand for change could bring about a new third party to offer an alternative, they added.

US Social Security Trust Fund Will Go Bust
"This is not so much an outrageous claim as an actuarial and mathematical certainty," the report said. "The outrageous part is that social security taxes and contributions have been squandered for so long."  Next year outlays for the non-existing trust fund will have to be part-financed by the federal government's General Fund, Saxo Bank said. Part of the social security outlays will have to be financed by higher taxes, which will bring more borrowing or more printing, they said.

Price of Sugar Will Drop One Third
A return to more normal weather conditions in 2010 could make sugar one of the less attractive commodities, Saxo Bank said. Meanwhile, Brazil and the US have lowered the ethanol content of gasoline by five percentage points because of the rising price of the commodity, the report pointed out. Both factors could push prices of sugar lower.

Tokyo Small Caps Will Rise by 50%
Tokyo's small-cap stocks have been underperforming the Nikkei 225, but their fundamentals indicate this is a "bargain index," according to Saxo Bank.
"With a price/book ratio of only 0.77 and only about 12 percent of the index consisting of financials, we know no other index this cheap," the report said.

US Trade Balance Will Turn Positive
The dollar has become weak enough to stimulate US exports and put strain on imports, the report pointed out. The changing trend could see one or two months of positive US trade in 2010, it said.

Macro hedge funds, stockpickers tipped for 2010

* Countries set to exit downturn at different speeds
* Big asset price rises of 2009 not expected
* Opportunities to differentiate between economies, stocks
* Investors shuffle winning credit bets of 2009

By Laurence Fletcher and Svea Herbst
LONDON/BOSTON, Dec 23 (Reuters) - Hedge funds making big bets on currencies, commodities and equities are favoured by fund selectors in what is likely to be a more testing 2010 after a bumper year for hedge fund returns. While 2009's best trade has been to buy riskier assets rebounding from last year's depressed prices, funds of funds think 2010 will not see such large price rises and will instead belong to managers with the skill to differentiate between economic and corporate scenarios.

BNP Paribas/Fortis: Commodity Outlook 2010

Introduction
China’s rapacious appetite for base metals has shaped this market throughout 2009; without China, and the promise of its long-term growth, prices would be languishing at almost half their current level. Now that China has reiterated it will maintain a relatively loose monetary policy in 2010, and forecasts for China’s GDP growth next year are already exceeding 9%, the year ahead is unlikely to see much price weakness for base metals – if anything, the reverse. We also expect speculative investment levels to rise, given what is now almost certain to be an effectively zero interest-rate environment during the whole of 2010. That spells persistent weakness for the US dollar and, with economic recovery likely across almost all the OECD countries, 2010 is shaping up to see
base metals prices shift beyond their 2009 highs and perhaps challenge levels last seen in H1 2008. The only real negatives are the massive inventories and the threat of over-supply, as miners and smelters ramp-up by too much, and too soon.

Hong Kong stocks to rally in 2010 on China stimulus

(Reuters) - Hong Kong shares will likely rally in the first half of 2010 on hopes that China will maintain the massive stimulus spending program launched last year, a Reuters poll showed on Wednesday. The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI, one of the best performing stock markets in the world so far this year, will eke out mild gains in the fourth-quarter to finish 2009 at 22,000 points, as investors pause after a blistering nine-month rally, the poll of over 20 analysts taken over the last week said. The index could post a full-year gain of over 50 percent in 2009, which would be its best in a decade and a remarkable turnaround from huge losses in 2008, when investors shunned stocks after the global financial crisis.

Japan Stocks Poised to Rebound in 2010 After Trailing Developed Markets

(Bloomberg) -- Government spending and the central bank’s plan to hold down interest rates will spur a rebound in Japanese stocks, this year’s worst-performing equities among major markets, six of the biggest securities firms said.Kathy Matsui, Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s chief strategist in Tokyo, forecasts the Topix index will rally 16 percent from the close on Dec. 22 to 1,050 by the first half of next year as the government moves to prevent a double-dip recession. Nomura Holding Inc.’s chief strategist, Seiichiro Iwasawa, predicts the Topix will climb to as much as 1,200 by the end of 2010.

Central Banks Avoiding Dollar to Kill 2010 Rally, Barclays Says

(Bloomberg) -- The U.S. dollar’s gains may end in the middle of 2010 as central banks shy away from adding greenbacks to their reserves and the Federal Reserve raises rates at a slower pace than investors expect, Barclays Plc said. Long-term demand for dollars is set to weaken after the currency’s share of global reserves added in the third quarter slid to less than 30 percent, a decline “unprecedented in a period of U.S. dollar weakness,” Barclays said in a note to clients. The dollar stemmed 11 months of declines versus the 16 most-traded currencies in December, gaining against all but two, after investors increased bets the Fed will remove monetary stimulus next year as the economy recovers.

Dollar’s Rally May Halt at Moving Average: Technical Analysis

(Bloomberg) -- The dollar’s 4.6 percent rally this month versus the euro may end after the U.S. currency approached its 200-day moving average, according to Citigroup Inc. The greenback declined 0.7 percent to $1.4343 today after appreciating yesterday to $1.4218, the strongest since Sept. 4. That level was within a quarter-cent of its 200-day moving average of $1.4198. The last time the dollar was stronger than the average was in mid-May. The greenback lost 13 percent from the beginning of that month to this year’s weakest level of $1.5144 reached in November.

Look Ahead: Strategists See Modestly Higher 2010

By: Patti Domm Executive Editor
Stocks should make a more subdued move higher in the coming year, and the Fed is not likely to raise interest rates until at least mid-year.That is the collective view of nine major Wall Street banks, which on average forecast a 9.5 percent gain in the S&P 500 to a level of 1222 for 2010. The S&P, so far this year, has gained 24 percent, more than the Dow's 19 percent and behind the Nasdaq's 43 percent. The consensus view from the nine banks is to "underweight" or "bench mark" U.S. equities. They also expect gold at $1,213 an ounce; oil at $80 per barrel and the dollar versus the euro at a level of $1.45, slightly below where it is now. This tally is courtesy of Birinyi Associates, which combed through some 3,500 pages of 2010 outlooks and compiled the expectations of the firms. Their average outlook for the U.S. economy includes growth of 3.1 percent. The firm with the lowest growth forecast was Goldman Sachs, at 2.1 percent, and the most bullish on growth was Deutsche Bank, at 4.9 percent.

Sakakibara Says Yen May Rise to 80, Endangering Japan Recovery

(Bloomberg) -- Eisuke Sakakibara, formerly Japan’s top currency official, said the yen may climb to 80 per dollar in the first half of next year, hampering the economic recovery. “A strong yen would cause stock losses and enhance deflation, which may cause Japan’s economy to slip into a double-dip recession,” Sakakibara said at an event today in Tokyo hosted by Citigroup Global Markets Japan Inc. Japan’s government would find it difficult to intervene effectively to weaken the yen, said Sakakibara, who became known as “Mr. Yen” during his 1997-1999 tenure at the Ministry of Finance for his efforts to influence the yen rate through verbal and actual intervention in the currency markets.

Pound Falls Below 200-Day Moving Average: Technical Analysis

(Bloomberg) -- The pound breached its 200-day moving average against the dollar amid concern that the U.K.’s fiscal condition is deteriorating, putting its sovereign credit rating at risk. Sterling fell below $1.60 today for the first time since Oct. 15, dropping as low as $1.5922. The moving average is $1.6013, according to Bloomberg calculations. So far in the fourth quarter, the pound is the only currency from the Group of Seven industrialized nations to move through its 200-day moving average versus the dollar.

Double-Dip Is Most Underestimated Risk, Barclays Survey Shows

(Bloomberg) -- A “double-dip” recession is the most “underpriced” risk in financial markets and the dollar would benefit from a renewed bout of market turbulence, according to a Barclays Plc survey. More than 25 percent of the 724 customers surveyed said another downturn in the global economy is the most underestimated risk, the London-based bank said in a statement today. About 21 percent of the participants, including hedge funds, money managers, and central banks, ranked weak-than- expected Chinese growth as the second-biggest risk.About 39 percent of those who responded said the dollar will remain the best refuge in the currency markets in periods of turmoil, followed by the Swiss franc and the yen.

Daily Market Outlook Of IHSG (JSX)

Market Review
Investor asing membukukan buy sebesar Rp 118 miliar, dibandingkan net buy Rp 200 miliar hari Senin.

IHSG Outlook

Stock Picks:
#BLTA: Underperform target Rp 550 #JKON: Outperform target Rp 750

Global Outlook

Technical Analysis:
Hold sell on rally 2.491-2.530, target 2.370/2.250 stop diatas 2.560, buy break 2.560 target 2.575/2.620. Perkiraan Range: 2450-2500.

Stocks Next Year: More Gains As 'Pessimism Bubble' Pops

By: Jeff Cox CNBC.com
From the unbridled despair of 2008 to the only-somewhat bridled optimism of 2009, what a difference a year makes on Wall Street. And so it goes into 2010. Most analysts are offering upbeat forecasts for stocks, though tempered with a healthy dose of what-ifs: whether housing ever does get back on track; whether the Fed raises rates too soon; whether the profligate government spending catches up with the economy and thwarts the nascent recovery. And, most ominously, whether unemployment continues to prevent the consumer from goosing the economy.

Despite the lingering fears, a return to an armageddon-like scenario is being almost wholly dismissed and investors are enjoying the healthy profits that 2009 offered. This year's 19 percent stock-market profit contrasts handsomely with the nearly 40 percent loss of 2008.Positive GDP growth—with some estimates as high as the 4 percent range—coupled with continued help from Washington is seen as a solid barrier against fears of a double-dip.Analysts at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch are calling it the popping of "the equity pessimism bubble."

Investors Will Return to US Markets in 2010: Expert
By: Krystina Gustafson Special to CNBC.com

The Federal Reserve's pledge to keep interest rates at near zero for an extended period means U.S. markets will continue to rise in early 2010—and asset bubbles and a shaky world economy will cause some investors to pull out of emerging markets, said Eric Ross of Watch Harbor Asset Management. He and Brian Daley of Conifer Securities offered CNBC their outlooks for next year."I think the worries that we have are really the rest of the world's starting to fall apart economically, particularly the euro zone," Ross said.

As the U.S. market rises, the dollar will continue to weaken, and commodities will head higher, Ross said. And although gold isn't his favorite commodity, it is a good way to play the weak dollar, he said. Ross predicts January's earnings season will be better than many expect, with technology leading the pack. But Daley said investing in equities will still be stock-specific in 2010.
