(Bloomberg) -- Futures traders are betting that the euro will fall against the dollar for the first time in seven months, figures from the Washington-based Commodity Futures Trading Commission show.The difference in the number of wagers by hedge funds and other large speculators on a decline in the euro compared with those on a gain -- so-called net shorts -- was 511 on Dec. 8, compared with net longs of 22,151 a week earlier. That’s the first time since April 28 that short bets outnumbered longs.
